Botic van de Zandschulp moved into the second round of the grass-court tournament at Queen's Club in London on Monday.
The Dutch player defeated British qualifier Harry Wendelken in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6 (5), at the Andy Murray Arena.

The match saw a brief suspension during the first set when the score was 1-1.
Van de Zandschulp, ranked around 55th in the world, broke Wendelken's serve at 5-4 to take the first set without dropping a point in the final game.
In the second set, the 30-year-old built a 4-2 lead and produced a through-the-legs lob shot.
Wendelken, ranked 224th, fought back to force a tiebreak.

Van de Zandschulp overcame a 5-2 deficit in the tiebreak to seal the victory.
He will face the winner of an all-American match between Zachary Svajda and Tommy Paul in the second round.
Paul won the Queen's title in 2024.
Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz is absent from this year's event.

The 23-year-old Spaniard has been sidelined for over a month with a wrist injury, causing him to miss Roland Garros and his scheduled Wimbledon appearance.
