The Detroit Pistons moved up in the 2026 NBA Draft, acquiring the 17th overall pick from the Memphis Grizzlies to select Stanford guard Ebuka Okorie.
Detroit traded its 21st pick and three second-round selections to Memphis in the deal, which was finalized on June 23, 2026.

Okorie's College Performance
Okorie, a 19-year-old freshman, led the ACC with an average of 23.2 points per game, along with 3.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
He ranked in the top 10 nationally in scoring during the 2025-26 season, according to Bleacher Report.
According to CBB Analytics, Stanford's turnover rate was 11.9 percent with Okorie on the court, but jumped to 20.5 percent without him.
He posted a 31.0 percent usage rate and an 8.7 percent turnover percentage.

Okorie attempted 250 shots at the rim, shooting 46.5 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from three-point range.
Yahoo Sports described him as the best driving guard prospect in the 2026 draft class.
