England secured a place in the World Cup knockout rounds ahead of their final Group L fixture against Panama scheduled for Saturday in New Jersey, United States.
A round of 32 spot became guaranteed for the team after Spain defeated Uruguay on Friday night, ensuring Thomas Tuchel's squad finishes as at least one of the top eight third-placed teams regardless of the weekend outcome.

Tuchel on Tactical Challenges
England manager Thomas Tuchel addressed the tactical difficulties his team faces when attempting to break down defensive opponents before the upcoming game against Panama.
"We will face another deep block in another kind of formation," said Tuchel. "We now see a back five.
For many moments in the match we see a back six, we see a back seven."
The manager explained that the squad typically looks to create tactical overloads in specific areas of the pitch before accelerating the play, though this strategy failed during the previous match.
"Normally we try to overload parts and areas in the match, try to overload and then accelerate quickly in this moment of overload," said Tuchel.

Tuchel further acknowledged that a definitive tactical solution to breaking down low-block defensive structures remains a work in progress for his coaching staff.
"I haven't found the recipe where 'they do this, then we do this – and then we are fine'," said Tuchel.
