"I looked at the rankings the other day, and I think I'm second or third with the IBF, second or third with the WBC," said Whittaker.

"In that many fights to be there, I'm in a good position to be fair," said Whittaker.

Whittaker concluded that his primary focus is maintaining his winning streak by treating every contest like a championship bout.

"For me, it's just about keeping winning, treating each fight as a world title, and we'll get there eventually," said Whittaker.

Addressing external interests, Whittaker revealed he paused his side pursuit of recording rap music under the pseudonym Benzo due to his girlfriend's disapproval.

"I'd like to be doing some music, but my missus says she gets cringed out, so I've stopped for a little bit," said Whittaker.

"It's all good and well doing it, but I have to go home to her.

She won't be making dinner if I start rapping, so maybe down the line I'll get back to it.

For now, she's the boss," said Whittaker.

During pre-fight press engagements reported by wbcboxing. com, Whittaker confidently detailed how he plans to handle Rivera.

"On Saturday, we are going to chop him to pieces," said Whittaker.

"I'm taller, I'm faster, I have a better IQ, and I'm probably better looking too.

It's going to be a surgical beating; if he comes forward, I'm going to catch him, and if he moves back, I'm going to dismantle him as well," said Whittaker.
