Corporate representatives detailed the technical development of the cooling gear utilized by the tennis player during his practices.

The manufacturer clarified the commercial nature of their relationship with the athlete, noting his primary structural obligations to other athletic brands.

The design team conducted material testing before using a biochemical compound that responds directly to specific spikes in human body heat.
"Abbiamo studiato le tecnologie a disposizione per realizzarlo, verificato le differenti cuciture, fino a realizzare questo gilet, che ha dei cubi prestampati con un materiale che si chiama Bio Pcm (phase change material).
È un prodotto biochimico che, messo in un comune frigo refrigeratore, assorbe il freddo e, al momento dell’utilizzo del gilet, quando viene indossato e in una condizione in cui l’organismo superi la temperatura dei 26 gradi, reagisce e libera il freddo.
In questo modo, l’atleta avverte un beneficio a livello toracico, che abbassa la propria temperatura, consentendo allo sportivo di esprimersi al meglio nella sua performance," Dannhauser detailed.
The company confirmed identical equipment is supplied to the Pinarello Q36.5 cycling team for grand tour competitions.
"Jannik e il suo staff si sono detti contenti e hanno testato il giubbino, rilevando come il materiale refrigerante mantenga una buona durata," noted Dannhauser.
The Italian manufacturing facility focuses its current operational output on specialized sports eyewear and transit luggage following a 20 million euro fiscal year closure.
