A new study by ticket experts SeatPick has ranked SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, last among the 11 US venues hosting the 2026 World Cup.
The analysis evaluated factors including accommodation prices, crime data, weather, refreshment costs, and mosquito complaints.

SoFi Stadium received a fan experience score of 5.82 out of 10, driven by $14 beers, $7 water bottles, a maximum mosquito risk score, and average nightly hotel rates of $383.
Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, secured the top spot with a rating of 8.08.
Arrowhead Stadium ranked second, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium placed third.

SeatPick Co-Founder Gilad Zilberman explained the comprehensive methodology used to evaluate comfort and affordability for traveling soccer spectators.
"We looked at everything that actually determines whether a World Cup trip is enjoyable or miserable — not just ticket prices," Zilberman said.

John Murray highlighted the football history at Mexico's Azteca Stadium, calling it "the place where Carlos Alberto scored that famous fourth Brazilian goal in the 1970 final and where Diego Maradona did his thing for Argentina in 1986."
Pat Nevin noted that while Gillette Stadium offers excellent views from steep stands, signage and access pose challenges.
Phil McNulty praised AT&T Stadium in Dallas for its air conditioning, wide concourses, and easy traffic flow.
