External contacts will need to enter this PIN before sending messages to a user.
Meta Platforms is also allowing content creators and businesses to adopt their existing Facebook or Instagram handles, ensuring consistent brand identity across services.
Users who struggle to find an available handle can use an integrated name generator within the application.
