The Philadelphia 76ers have reached an agreement with free-agent forward Dean Wade on a four-year, $39 million contract, according to ESPN.
The deal marks the first roster decision under Mike Gansey, who recently took over basketball operations after Daryl Morey's departure.

Wade, 29, spent seven seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 5.8 points and 4.2 rebounds last season while shooting 36.2 percent from three-point range across 59 games.
The signing addresses a clear need at power forward for Philadelphia, which entered the 2026-27 season with a vacancy alongside stars Joel Embiid and Paul George.
Reunion with Gansey
The undrafted forward out of Kansas State is reuniting with Gansey, who helped bring Wade into the league on a two-way contract in 2019 while serving as Cleveland's assistant general manager.

While negotiations began after the NBA's tampering window opened Tuesday, the contract cannot become official until July 6 under league rules.
The 76ers still face decisions on several internal free agents, including Quentin Grimes, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Andre Drummond, who could depart this offseason.

Philadelphia also added backcourt depth in last week's 2026 NBA draft, selecting Alabama guard Labaron Philon Jr. to support Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.
