Goldie Bashala, who runs The Bash Restaurant Cafe Bar with her husband, noted that Seven Sisters has long functioned as a central gathering point.
"Even when there's a game being played in Congo, we always come together in Seven Sisters and celebrate," Bashala said.
She highlighted the area as the primary location for authentic cultural goods.
"Seven Sisters has always been an area for Congolese people. There are restaurants and shops selling everything from Congo," she added.
Guylaine Sambo, owner of the clothing boutique Guylaine Style, established her business in the area seven years ago due to its strong commercial appeal and community ties.
"There's something about West Green and the Congolese love this part of England. We are all waiting and hoping.
I feel like we can win," Sambo said.
