Bugatti has unveiled another one-off W16 Mistral, and this time the hypercar is dressed in fine porcelain.

The Blanc Éternel edition pairs a white exterior with real fired porcelain components, creating a look that is both elegant and unexpected for a 261-mph (420 km/h) convertible.

Porcelain Inlays and Hand-Drawn Lines

The porcelain elements are not limited to the exterior.

The gas cap, oil cap, engine cover inlays, and EB badges are all made from the material, produced by German manufacturer Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM).

Each porcelain piece required careful engineering because the material shrinks by about 17 percent during firing.

Bugatti and KPM oversized the components before kiln-curing to ensure a perfect fit.

After the white paint was applied, dozens of intricate black lines were hand-drawn onto the body.

Unlike the Veyron L'Or Blanc, which used reflection-line graphics, the Mistral's lines trace the car's underlying NURBS digital surface layout, revealing its geometric structure.

Porcelain Inside the Cabin

The porcelain theme continues inside. The shift lever, speaker covers, center console armrest, kneepads, and window switches all feature the material.

The black line motif also appears on the white leather upholstery, applied using a hand-masking and painting process.

Bugatti and KPM also created a limited-edition Blanc Éternel porcelain collection, including the To-Drive Cup and KPM's Aviator Cup in two sizes, limited to 1,000 handmade pieces.

Mistral Production Ends

Production of the W16 Mistral has concluded after 99 units.

The Blanc Éternel is one of several distinctive examples built, joining a copper-finished car for an Argentine businessman, a blue-and-black example for the US, and a lavender car with floral accents.
