Both teams enter the contest with two-game winning streaks.

Seattle's Road Struggles and Recent Surge

Seattle carries an eight-game road losing streak and a 10-game losing skid within the Western Conference. This includes two prior defeats against Phoenix this season.

However, the Storm recently secured back-to-back victories against the New York Liberty and the Atlanta Dream.

They shot 60.3% overall in their latest 105-90 win over Atlanta.

"There's gonna be ups and downs, but I think we've had our downs and now we're trying to grow," said Seattle rookie Flau'jae Johnson.

"As long as we keep coming out like this, we're gonna be OK."

Johnson recorded 24 points and 11 rebounds in the victory, while fellow rookie Awa Fam contributed 21 points for the Storm.

Phoenix's Winning Momentum

Phoenix also enters with two straight victories, achieved on the road against the Indiana Fever and the Toronto Tempo.

The Mercury played their last game without Alyssa Thomas, who served a one-game WNBA suspension for an excessive flagrant foul against Caitlin Clark.

"Our circle got smaller, but we have enough," Phoenix coach Nate Tibbetts said. "Everybody contributed and we got the win, which is most important."

Kahleah Copper paced the Mercury with 27 points against Toronto, supported by Valeriane Ayayi's 20 points off the bench.

Injury Report and Statistical Comparison

For the upcoming game, the Mercury will remain without Natasha Mack, Noemie Brochant, and Sami Whitcomb. Seattle lists Ezi Magbegor as probable.

Statistically, Phoenix averages 84.0 points per game compared to Seattle's 81.1 points.
