He expressed strong enthusiasm for hosting similar massive events regularly.

"I'm hoping it's going to be positive. I don't think it can be a negative unless anything drastically goes wrong," said Fischer.

He added, "How often do we get an opportunity to have something this exciting going on?

So, for me, bring it on - do it more often, do it every weekend."

Community Benefits

Community groups also highlighted positive takeaways.

Sara Dawson, vice chair of the Friends of Roundhay Park, stated that organizers provided funding to rebuild the park's cricket steps and committed to cleaning up the space.

"We're in a situation with Roundhay Park where we're almost in a managed decline, which is kind of sad to say," said Dawson.

She emphasized that the park desperately required this type of external investment.

"So any investment into the park is great, because it's investment the park really needs," said Dawson.

She noted that many local residents received complimentary tickets to compensate for the short-term inconvenience.

"It's three days of disruption - and we can all cope with that and a lot of people have been given free tickets," said Dawson.

She viewed the gathering as a positive showcase for the venue.

"It's a real celebration of the park. It brings people to the park and I think that's a good thing," said Dawson.

The festival continues through the weekend with Pitbull, Jason Derulo, and Tinie Tempah performing on Friday, Lewis Capaldi and Conan Grey headlining Saturday, and the Hallé Orchestra concluding the event on Sunday.
