More than 1.5 million people gathered in central London on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for the annual Pride in London parade.
The event featured 35,000 marchers from over 600 groups.

Organizers had anticipated attendance could reach up to 1.8 million people. The procession began at Hyde Park Corner at 12:00 BST.
Route and Performances
The parade traveled along Piccadilly toward Piccadilly Circus, then headed south down Haymarket, past Trafalgar Square, and concluded on Whitehall.
The march typically lasts four to five hours, ending by 18:00.
Extensive road closures were in place across Westminster and the West End. Attendees faced temperatures reaching 28°C in Westminster.

Six performance areas were set up, including the Main Stage in Trafalgar Square, the Trans and Non-Binary Stage in Soho Square, the Global Majority Stage in Golden Square, the Cabaret Stage on Dean Street, the Women's Stage in Leicester Square, and a Family Area at Victoria Embankment Gardens.
Spectator grandstands with dedicated rest facilities were erected at Piccadilly and Cockspur Street. They opened at 11:00 with tickets starting at £65.
Transport for London managed crowded Underground stations, including Hyde Park Corner, Marble Arch, Green Park, Piccadilly Circus, Charing Cross, Embankment, Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Circus, Leicester Square, and Covent Garden.
The parade's roots trace back to 1972, when 2,000 people attended the UK's first official Gay Pride Rally following the 1969 Stonewall Uprising.

Local organizations, including Camden Council staff and councilors, participated in the 2026 march alongside residents to support the community.
