"You have to adapt to these sort of feelings and how the corner should be approached."

Sharp, who also has extensive single-seater experience at Silverstone from British F4 and GB3, explained how his familiarity with the venue provided an advantage.

"I’ve raced in British F4 and GB3 here," said Sharp.

"Obviously I raced here last year in F3 as well, so I definitely know the circuit better than the rest."

The New Zealander acknowledged that history at a venue does not automatically translate into performance without ongoing adaptability.

"Maybe you’ve got a little bit more history [on this track], so you know how to manage the situations better, but just because you know the circuit, it doesn’t mean you’re going to be fast," he said.

He emphasized the importance of staying flexible as track dynamics evolve.

"It’s still important to be open-minded and to take it as it comes because a circuit is so dependent on track conditions, and that can change so easily," Sharp added.

Championship Leader Struggles

Championship leader Ugo Ugochukwu faced a difficult session with multiple lap deletions for track limits violations at Becketts and Vale.

He ultimately qualified 12th overall to secure reverse-grid pole for Saturday's Sprint Race.
