Feyenoord right-back Givairo Read has spoken out about ongoing transfer rumors linking him to major European clubs, following a 6-0 pre-season friendly victory over FC Dordrecht on Saturday.
The 20-year-old defender, under contract at De Kuip until mid-2029, has reportedly attracted interest from Paris FC, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City.

Speaking to De Telegraaf after the match, Read acknowledged past interest from foreign clubs but remained focused on his current team.
“It did not become concrete, but I do not have to lie about the fact that multiple clubs came last year.
But it went the way it had to go. You never know if it will still happen,” said Read.
The defender expressed uncertainty about the remainder of the summer transfer window while reinforcing his commitment to Feyenoord under new manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
“I do not know what the future brings, it can still go either way,” said Read.
He emphasized his desire to remain with Feyenoord and achieve domestic success before considering any potential departure.
“But I do not have the feeling that I have to leave or want to leave Feyenoord. Not at all even.
I have a good feeling about the new coach. And I have not become a champion with Feyenoord yet.
That is my goal,” said Read.
In addition to club success, the right-back shared his international aspirations regarding the Dutch national team despite heavy positional competition from players like Jurriën Timber, Denzel Dumfries, Jeremie Frimpong, and Lutsharel Geertruida.
