"We're going to be going to Mars very soon, and I think that's something that we do have in my mind," he said.

He specified that lunar exploration would serve as a precursor. "We're going to do the moon and we're going to go from there.

We're going to go to Mars, and we're going to continue to be way ahead," Trump said.

The speech also focused on domestic political ideologies, with Trump criticizing communist rhetoric.

"All these talks from the communists, they haven't got a chance – not even a chance," he said.

He explicitly rejected such political frameworks. "We don't want communists in our country.

He claimed that historical military engagements were fought to prevent ideological threats at home.

"As our Declaration of Independence tells us, we are all made in the image of one almighty God, and a communist will never say that," Trump said.

Following the speech, a massive fireworks display, which achieved a Guinness World Record, concluded around 1:00 a.

m. on July 5.

According to internal National Park Service documents, nearby residents were cautioned about potential pollution from the fireworks, with advice to wear N95 masks to reduce respiratory irritation.
