"Being part of the 2017 final, we spoke in a similar way about how special a day it was going to be, trying to be really present during the day," Sciver-Brunt said.
She noted that maintaining mental focus remains a priority for the entire team roster ahead of the final.
"That is what I've been trying to instil in everybody," she said.
Sciver-Brunt reiterated that her squad is fully prepared for the competitive nature of the final match.
"Our team has come a long way since that Ashes tour and I think everyone knows what tomorrow is about, a World Cup final at home at Lord's," she said.
The captain also stated that her group is prepared for a difficult physical and mental contest on Sunday.
"Battle," Sciver-Brunt said.
Australia Confident Ahead of Final
Meanwhile, the Australian camp expressed anticipation for the high-stakes matchup against their long-term cricket rivals.
"We know it's going to be an incredible challenge, but it's also going to be a really special day just to be involved in," Australia captain Sophie Molineux said.
Molineux voiced confidence in her squad's tactical matchups and historical success without focusing heavily on previous tournaments.
"We match up well against them.
We don't look too far into the past, but we should be very confident heading into this," she said.
The Australian skipper also provided a fitness update regarding veteran all-rounder Ellyse Perry, who sustained an injury during the semi-final win over the West Indies.
"She's trained really well," Molineux said.
A final medical determination regarding Perry's participation will be made directly leading up to the match schedule.
