"Bellingham is just an absolute superstar. He always turns up, always gives 100%.
He has the confidence that some might say is arrogance but you need that.
When he puts on an England shirt he just seems to go up a level," said Richards.
Haaland Shines for Norway
Norway forward Erling Haaland spoke about his performance after scoring two late goals against Brazil.
"If I get a chance or two, it usually turns into a goal. I don't know how I do it, but that's how I am.
It's about being focused," said Haaland.
Haaland commented on the significance of the result for his nation as they prepare to face England next.
"I peaked a couple of times in this tournament, but every now and then I get a new peak.
Maybe this will write history in Norway. Everyone just need to enjoy themselves.
This is just an insane day. It's one of the most insane days in Norwegian history.
Just enjoy it, embrace it and enjoy the moment," said Haaland.
In a separate tournament development, the Royal Belgian Football Association expressed astonishment after FIFA lifted a suspension for US striker Folarin Balogun following direct phone calls from Donald Trump to Gianni Infantino.
Belgium manager Rudi Garcia questioned FIFA's decision-making process through a translator.
"I didn't know that in the offices of FIFA the 5th of July was the 1st of April in Europe," said Garcia.
Garcia further criticized the implications of the regulatory reversal on the governance of international football.
"The Belgian federation does not defend itself, it does not protect the national team. She defends football in general, she defends her integrity, her ethics.
I think it's the first time in the history of the World Cup that there is this kind of decision," said Garcia.
The Royal Belgian Football Association also released an official statement regarding their ongoing evaluation of the situation.
