Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood surprised fans with an impromptu performance at an intimate album preview event in London on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
The duo played a live rendition of "Ringing Hollow," a track from their forthcoming record "Foreign Tongues," which is set for a midnight release on Thursday ahead of its full street date on Friday.

The surprise set took place at the St Clement Hotel in Aldwych, a luxury venue scheduled to officially open to the public in September.
Earlier, contest winners from countries including Japan, Germany, France, Italy, and Australia gathered at Metropolis Studios, where the album was recorded, to preview the tracks alongside host Matt Everitt.
Guitarist Keith Richards was absent, remaining in the United States for promotional duties.
Keyboardist Matt Clifford, a longtime collaborator who tours with the band, joined Jagger and Wood on stage during the unannounced performance, according to footage released by the band.
