The win extended Minnesota's winning streak over Cleveland to four games. The Twins have now won five of their last six contests.

Minnesota's offense collected six runs on 11 hits. Kody Clemens led the way, going 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Brooks Lee added two singles and drove in two runs.
Yoendrys Gómez earned his first win of the season after pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
Cleveland took an early lead in the fourth inning. Chase DeLauter singled, and Brayan Rocchio followed with a 401-foot home run off Twins starter Connor Prielipp.
Rhys Hoskins then hit a solo home run, his second in consecutive games, to put the Guardians ahead 3-0.
Minnesota responded in the bottom of the fourth. Lee scored on a bases-loaded walk by Royce Lewis.
Luke Keaschall drove in Clemens with a sacrifice fly, and Roden tied the game 3-3 with an RBI single.
The Guardians regained the lead in the seventh. Kahlil Watson walked, stole second, and scored on DeLauter's single.

Steven Kwan then scored on a sacrifice bunt by Rocchio, making it 5-3.
Guardians pitchers struggled with command, issuing eight walks total.
That allowed Minnesota to tie the game 5-5 in the bottom of the seventh on bases-loaded walks by Lee and Clemens.
Prielipp pitched five innings for the Twins, allowing three earned runs while striking out six.
The Minnesota bullpen surrendered two runs before holding Cleveland scoreless in the final frame.
The outcome tightens the American League Central division race.
The Chicago White Sox hold a one-game lead over the Guardians and a two-game cushion over the Twins.

Minnesota will attempt to sweep the three-game series on Thursday afternoon. Right-hander Bailey Ober returns from the injured list to face Cleveland right-hander Gavin Williams.
