Denza is saving details for later, likely tied to a Nürburgring EV record attempt.
Ultra-Fast Charging and Range
Every Z packs a 76 kWh second-generation Blade Battery with BYD's FLASH Charging technology.
On 1,500 kW chargers, the battery can go from 10 to 70 percent in five minutes, or to 97 percent in nine minutes—close to refueling a petrol car.
Range varies from 236 WLTP miles for the Racing to 254 miles for the Coupe. The Spider claims 248 miles.
Despite the performance, the Coupe weighs 2,230 kg, 20 kg lighter than the Racing.
Chassis and Interior
The Z features magnetorheological dampers, carbon-ceramic brakes, torque vectoring, and a compass turn function that lets the car pivot around its front axle.
The wheelbase is 2,780 mm, providing space for four occupants, though rear seats are tight.
Inside, the cabin includes massage seats, a Devialet audio system, ambient lighting, a 12.8-inch Google-equipped infotainment system, and a digital rear-view mirror.
A configurable virtual engine soundtrack and Boost/Track modes are also standard.
