The Duke of Sussex was joined on court by television hosts Alison Hammond and Ade Adepitan.
The duchess, Meghan Markle, did not attend due to security concerns that prevented her from flying to the UK earlier in the week.
She is expected to travel with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in the coming days.
Helen Helliwell, chief executive officer of Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, opened the demonstration by highlighting the competition's purpose.

"It transforms lives not only for competitors but for their families," she added.
