Chevrolet has allocated 35 percent of its early 2027 Corvette production to the newly introduced Grand Sport model, following assembly start on June 9.
Data from a C8 Corvette owners' group spreadsheet, reported by CarBuzz, shows that from June 9 through June 26, the manufacturer built 590 Grand Sport units out of 1,690 total Corvettes.

Production Breakdown and Pricing
The base Stingray remained the highest-volume trim with 719 units, while the high-performance Z06, ZR1, and ZR1X models accounted for the rest.
The 2027 Corvette Grand Sport features a 6.7-liter LS6 engine producing 535 horsepower, along with standard Magnetic Ride Control and wide-body styling derived from the Z06.

Chevrolet set the starting manufacturer's suggested retail price at $86,000, or $88,495 including destination fees.

Ordering for the hybrid Grand Sport X variant is scheduled to begin this summer, but Chevrolet has not yet started production for that configuration.
