The Dodge Hornet is almost gone from dealerships across the United States.

Inventory data from Dodge's website shows fewer than 90 units remaining, marking the end of a short-lived model.

Dodge launched the Hornet in August 2022 as a twin of the Alfa Romeo Tonale.

Production stopped in January 2026, with the company citing policy shifts as the reason.

Heavy discounts earlier this year helped clear stock.

Now, only 88 Hornets are listed on Dodge's official inventory, priced between $31,590 and $50,775 before negotiation.

Cars. com reports 129 new Hornets nationwide, but many listings may be outdated.

The cheapest is a white 2024 Hornet GT at $23,990, down from $34,990. Thirty-nine models are under $30,000.

Why the Hornet Was Discontinued

The Hornet was built in Italy at the Pomigliano d'Arco plant, exposing it to import tariffs.

Stellantis also shifted its electrification strategy, undermining the Hornet's role as a plug-in hybrid stepping stone.

The vehicle used the aging FCA Small Wide architecture from 2005, which has since been replaced by newer platforms.

The Alfa Romeo Tonale sibling may also end production in November 2027.

With the Hornet gone, the Dodge lineup now includes the Durango, which has remained largely unchanged since 2011, and the two- and four-door Charger models.
