What I’ve tried to put into the debate, and keep voicing, is the notion of responsibility and employer responsibility.

The one thing we can’t do is let management, employers and the producers use AI to sidestep responsibility for their actions,” Nolan said.
He added that these unresolved ethical dilemmas frequently serve as creative inspiration for his cinematic projects.
“[AI] leaves me with a lot of troubling questions. And quite often those become fuel for what I do next,” Nolan stated.
Casting Controversy Dismissed
In addition to technological debates, the production faced online backlash regarding the casting of actress Lupita Nyong'o as Helen of Troy.
Nyong'o dismissed the online complaints, emphasizing that the production accurately reflects global diversity.
“Our cast is representative of the world. I’m not spending my time thinking of a defense.
The criticism will exist whether I engage with it or not,” Nyong'o stated.
Nolan supported his cast member during an interview with the Telegraph, asserting that pre-release controversies are a standard part of high-profile filmmaking.
“These conversations that happen before people see the film — they’re always irrelevant, because no one having them knows what the film actually is yet,” Nolan said.
