The Jetta brand, a Volkswagen Group subsidiary in China, has unveiled its first all-electric sedan: the Jetta M6.
Images from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology reveal a front fascia that closely resembles the Tesla Model 3.

The M6 features slim, angular headlights and a grille-free front bumper, echoing the design of one of the world's best-selling EVs.
The rest of the exterior is more conventional, with flap-type door handles, pronounced creases on the door panels, and a rear end with slim LED taillights and a light bar.
According to MIIT filings, the M6 measures 189.2 inches in length, up to 74.6 inches in width, and 59 inches in height, with a wheelbase of 111 inches.
Curb weight ranges from 3,432 to 3,589 pounds depending on configuration.

Powertrain and Battery
The Jetta M6 will be offered with a single electric motor. The base version produces 152 hp (113 kW), while the flagship variant delivers 194 hp (145 kW).
Battery details are limited, but it will use lithium-ion cells from CALB, manufactured through the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture.
The M6 is positioned as an affordable entry in China's EV market, not a high-performance model.
It joins Jetta's broader push into electrification: the brand plans to launch five new models by 2028, four of which will be new energy vehicles (BEVs or PHEVs).
