Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Andy Pages delivered a decisive sacrifice fly off San Diego Padres closer Mason Miller in the ninth inning on Tuesday, securing a 1-1 series-equalizing victory at Petco Park.
The win handed Miller his first loss since May 17, 2025, and allowed the Dodgers to push back against their NL West rivals, who had taken the division lead with a 1-0 win on Monday.

Pages battled through a nine-pitch at-bat, fouling off three triple-digit fastballs and three 87 mph sliders to drive in pinch-runner Alex Call for the unearned run.
"That was one of the greatest at-bats I've ever seen in person," said Dodgers infielder Freddie Freeman. "And I've been playing a long time.
That was incredible."
The rally began when Max Muncy walked after a successful Automated Ball-Strike challenge on a called third strike.
Miller then committed his first career MLB throwing error on a pickoff attempt, allowing Call to advance into scoring position.
"Good plate appearance from Pages," Miller said. "Good, long at-bat, and just barely got it done.
Unfortunate, for sure."
The RBI was Pages' 42nd of the season, pushing his total past teammate Shohei Ohtani.
"The work he's put in showed itself there, but I think at the end of the day, it was just fight," said Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.
