I've always wanted to do this, went to Mississippi State for undergrad, and somehow this is my very first one," said Andrew Diaz, an attendee who recently moved to the area.
Diaz expressed satisfaction with the tournament infrastructure and environment during his family's visit.
"It's very family-friendly, the ballpark is beautiful, this fanfare area is, we didn't even know this was here, this is incredible," Diaz said.
Other attendees noted that the event served as an opportunity to gather with peers and enjoy the atmosphere.
"Yeah, lots of good baseball, and like I get to be with my friends, and it's just so beautiful, man.
I just, I love it," said one attendee.
Recreation officials designed the outdoor festival space specifically to offer attendees a destination between games.
"This is a great place for fans to come and enjoy different food and beverages, get out of the weather, take a little break from the action, and have some fun," said Erin Colbaugh, director of parks and recreation.
The event is expected to remain a regular destination for local residents due to its proximity.
"Get out here, get out here, especially if you live in the area.

It was just a 20-minute drive for us, so no reason to not come out here and have some fun and enjoy some family time," Diaz said.
