The Detroit Lions have secured linebacker Jack Campbell with a four-year contract extension, the team announced on social media Thursday, May 21, 2026.
The deal avoids a projected $21.95 million fifth-year option for the former first-round pick.

Campbell, 25, has appeared in all 51 regular-season games since being selected 18th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Breakout 2025 Season
Campbell earned AP first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors in 2025 after recording 176 total tackles, 5.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and four pass defenses, according to team statistics.
He has become a defensive anchor for the Lions.
In a video released by the team, Campbell said, "I just wanted to let you guys know I signed my extension.
