Patel, who immigrated from India in 2007 and became a football fan in 2015, coordinates with the Lions through her active social media presence.
"I work in a nursing facility, so I was going from building to building talking to Eamonn," she said.
"I texted two people that would wonder where I am. I was like, 'Just so you know, I'm in the parking lot doing something for the Lions.'
And then came back after I tweeted it finally."
The Lions previously used a similar fan-centric approach in January, sending a private introductory video of new offensive coordinator Drew Petzing directly to season-ticket holders.
"I couldn't believe that they let me do it," Patel said.

The extension comes as Detroit prepares for the upcoming season under defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard, aiming to rebound from a 9-8 record that missed the playoffs.
