Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has confirmed that midfielder Sandro Tonali could be available for Sunday's Premier League season finale against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Tonali sustained a hamstring issue recently, but Howe revealed the injury is not as serious as initially feared.

“Yeah, potentially available, we’ll have a look again today. I don’t think it’s too serious,” Howe said during a press conference on Friday.
However, Newcastle will still be without several key players for the trip to London.
Joelinton, Lewis Miley, Emil Krafth, Tino Livramento, and Fabian Schar have all been ruled out due to ongoing injuries.
Gordon's Future in Spotlight
Howe also addressed the situation of winger Anthony Gordon, who has been an unused substitute for the past three matches amid reports of a potential summer transfer.
“We don’t know at this moment whether it will be his last game,” Howe said.
“Obviously, I’ve picked a team, as I’ve said many times in the last few weeks, that’s been performing well.

Anthony has come back from injury. He’s been great around the group.
He’s been absolutely part of the team. There have been no issues.
So, let’s see what happens.”
Newcastle are among a dozen top-flight clubs with little at stake in terms of European qualification or relegation, but Howe stressed the importance of finishing the season strongly.
“I think we hope to continue the upturn in our recent performances, the upturn in our in possession play.
We want to end the season on a real high,” he said.
