The win gives the Monsters a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series.

Game 4 is scheduled for Friday night in Toronto, where the Marlies must win to keep their season alive.
Monsters Dominate Shots and Early Leads
Cleveland has outshot Toronto 88-50 through three games.
The Monsters have held a 40-15 edge in first-period shots alone and have built 2-0 leads in every matchup.
The Marlies offense, which averaged 3.18 goals per game during the regular season, has managed only one goal in the last two playoff games.
They lost Game 2 by a 3-1 score.

Several key Toronto prospects are struggling offensively.
Winger Easton Cowan has not recorded a point in the past two games after tallying six points in the previous round.
Rookie center Luke Haymes and defenseman William Villeneuve have each managed just one assist in the series.
Marlies head coach John Gruden said after the game he is considering changing his line combinations to generate more offense and find reliable options for the elimination game.
