O'Shea further noted that Nield provides a highly dependable option who will consistently execute plays exactly where the quarterback needs him.
"Put him in a spot, and he'll understand the concepts of the entire offence. Willing blocker; clutch catch guy.
He will be in the right place at the right time for a quarterback. He's going to be very trustworthy," said O'Shea.
Nield, a three-time Grey Cup champion, emphasized his desire to establish complete trust and synergy with the starting quarterback.
"I want to be that consistent receiver that can be relied on and on the same page with Zach," said Nield.
The newly acquired pass-catcher concluded by describing his ability to make physical plays over the top of defenders.
