William Contreras provided the early fireworks with a three-run home run in the first inning, his fourth of the season.

Rookie pitcher Logan Henderson earned his second win of the season, allowing just two hits and three walks while striking out seven over five scoreless innings.
The Brewers jumped on Dodgers starter Justin Wrobleski in the bottom of the first.
Jackson Chourio and Brice Turang hit back-to-back singles before Contreras launched a 410-foot homer to left field on an 89-mph slider.
Wrobleski struggled, allowing hits to six of the first seven batters he faced in a 38-pitch opening frame.
After Christian Yelich was retired, Andrew Vaughn, Jake Bauers, and Luis Rengifo singled to load the bases.
Vaughn scored on a sacrifice fly by Sal Frelick to make it 4-0.
Milwaukee added a run in the second inning when Vaughn drove in Contreras with a two-out double to center field.
Henderson worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the fourth inning by forcing Max Muncy to pop out.

He exited after 85 pitches.
Shane Drohan, Aaron Ashby, and Chad Patrick combined for four innings of relief, with Patrick earning his second save.
The Dodgers' only run came in the seventh inning on a sacrifice fly by Shohei Ohtani.
Los Angeles finished 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position and stranded nine base runners.
Muncy left the game in the eighth inning after being hit on the right wrist by a 95.5 mph sinker from Ashby.
The Dodgers said he would likely undergo X-rays for a possible fracture.
The win marked Milwaukee's ninth consecutive regular-season victory over the Dodgers, dating back to August 2024.
