De Telegraaf journalist Valentijn Driessen has predicted that former Liverpool manager Arne Slot will join PSV Eindhoven as part of a major managerial carousel in Dutch football after the World Cup.
Driessen expects current Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman to step down to care for his ill wife.

This would allow PSV manager Peter Bosz to fulfill his dream of leading the national team.
Potential Vacancy at PSV
The potential vacancy at PSV would then be filled by Slot, who was recently dismissed by Liverpool.
He reportedly turned down an offer from Fulham and has been ruled out for the Ajax job due to high financial demands.
Driessen compared the possible transition to historical moves within the KNVB, such as when Dick Advocaat moved from the national team to PSV in 1995.
The journalist outlined how this rearrangement would benefit all parties, including PSV's progression in European competitions.

He noted that Bosz would pursue his dream of being national coach, while Slot would aim to retain the league title and help PSV survive the Champions League group stage.
However, KNVB Director Nigel de Jong clarified that the federation is fully focused on the World Cup and has no immediate plans to replace Koeman.
De Jong emphasized that while background scenario planning is part of his duties, there is no active search for a new head coach.
In a related development, Ajax clubwatcher Mike Verweij dismissed any possibility of Slot moving to Ajax due to financial constraints and his Feyenoord background.
