Victor Wembanyama recorded 32 points, eight rebounds, and six assists to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 115-111 victory over the New York Knicks on Monday night at Madison Square Garden.
The win reduced New York's NBA Finals series lead to 2-1 and prevented the Spurs from falling into a 3-0 deficit, a hole no team has ever overcome in NBA history.

Knicks' Streak Snapped
According to the Associated Press, the loss ended a 46-day undefeated streak for the Knicks.
It was also New York's first postseason defeat since April 23, when they lost Game 3 of the first-round series against Atlanta.
Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 32 points, while OG Anunoby added 28 points in the losing effort.

Stephon Castle contributed 23 points for San Antonio, hitting critical shots late in the game alongside De'Aaron Fox to keep the Spurs' championship hopes alive.
President Donald Trump was among the spectators in attendance at the arena.

The Spurs will host Game 4 on Wednesday night with a chance to tie the series, followed by Game 5 scheduled for Saturday.
