In the 2026 playoffs, his three-point shooting improved to 56.9 percent, highlighting his value as an elite floor spacer.
The defending Western Conference champion Spurs see Hachimura as a way to improve their perimeter shooting, which ranked 15th in the league at 35.9 percent last season.

His presence would create driving lanes for guards De'Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle, while also freeing up space for star center Victor Wembanyama.
The Brooklyn Nets, meanwhile, have over $40 million in salary cap space to use before finalizing a recent three-team trade for Julius Randle.
