Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Jacob Misiorowski is scheduled to make his 15th start of the season against the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park on Friday night, June 19, 2026.
The 24-year-old pitcher comes off a historic stretch where he allowed just one earned run over his last eight starts.

Misiorowski currently leads Major League Baseball with an 8-2 record, a 1.34 ERA, a 0.74 WHIP, and 131 strikeouts, according to MLB.

He recently threw a one-hit shutout against the Philadelphia Phillies on June 12, 2026, striking out 15 batters while hitting a record velocity of 104.5 mph.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy praised the young pitcher's mindset, comparing him to the character Forrest Gump.
"Amazing young man, he really is. Forrest Gump-like, you know what I mean?"
said Murphy.
The manager explained the comparison highlights Misiorowski's ability to achieve greatness without letting external pressures affect his performance.
"It's for sure meant to be a compliment for a guy who didn't put any limits on himself," Murphy said.
Misiorowski reacted positively to the nickname, sharing an altered image on social media after learning about it from his agent.
"[Murphy] has called me that ever since I've been here, even my first big league Spring Training. He's always called me Forrest," said Misiorowski.
The pitcher stated that his success stems from everything coming together during his first full major league season.
"It's more that it finally clicked," he said.
