Reflecting on his childhood idols, Misiorowski noted he admired durable players who consistently gave their teams a chance to win.

"Every game, you felt like they could trust them to get a win," he said.

He also expressed appreciation for collecting baseball items alongside his childhood interests.

"Since I was a kid, my dad got me into it," Misiorowski said.

Physical preparation during the offseason helped him improve his endurance and command to sustain his high-velocity pitches.

"That's the goal every time," he said.

He recalled the overwhelming adrenaline following his recent 15-strikeout shutout performance.

"It was like, 'Holy [expletive], what did I just do?'" said Misiorowski.

Brewers pitching coach Chris Hook emphasized that Misiorowski actively studies the best players in the game to continuously improve.

"It's like, 'I want to be the best, so I'm going to watch the best and then get better at whatever they do,'" said Hook.

Veteran teammate Brandon Woodruff expressed pride in the young pitcher's trajectory.

"We'll see how the season unfolds, but if he stays on this trajectory he's on track to win every award there is.

As well he should.

One day, he's going to look back and appreciate that nobody can do what he does right now," said Woodruff.

Woodruff encouraged Misiorowski to remain true to his style rather than overcomplicating his pitch selection.

"Maybe I had an effect on his mentality. If it was me, I've told him, I would never throw a breaking ball, ever.
