Austin Hill drove his No. 21 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet to victory at the NASCAR O'Reilly Series San Diego race on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
The win came after a dramatic last-lap pass on Taylor Gray at Naval Base Coronado's road course.

The race lasted nearly five hours and marked Hill's 16th career victory in the series and his first on a road course.
With three laps remaining, Taylor Gray collided with leader Carson Kvapil, causing Kvapil to spin out.
Hill then overtook Gray through turns 3 and 4 on the final lap, crossing the finish line 1.127 seconds ahead.
Before the late-race drama, crew chief Rodney Childers encouraged Kvapil as he attempted to recover from the spin.
"It's not over until it's over," Childers said.
Kvapil recovered to finish fourth, while Sheldon Creed took third and Sammy Smith finished fifth.

The victory was the first for Richard Childress Racing in either series since the passing of NASCAR legend Kyle Busch last month.
The event saw multiple disruptions.
An early red flag occurred on the opening lap when Corey Day struck a loose metal cover that pierced his car's radiator.
NASCAR allowed Hendrick Motorsports to repair the vehicle and regain lost laps under the red flag.
A massive 25-car accident later caused a prolonged stoppage for wall repairs after Sam Mayer clipped an inside wall and careened into Anthony Alfredo.
