Iranian federation officials additionally highlighted that requests to modify their arrival window for their initial match had been flatly rejected by tournament organizers.

"Under the coaching staff's plan, the national team needed to travel to the host city two days before each match in order to achieve optimal technical and physical condition, and then return to their base the day after the match," the federation statement continued.

"However, for the opening match against New Zealand, this request was not approved," the federation added.

The administrative issues extended beyond scheduling, as several technical staff members failed to secure documentation to cross the border.

Iran's leadership emphasized that operating without a complete contingent of support personnel directly hinders the team's daily management and tournament routines.

"Like the other 47 participating teams, the Iranian delegation is expected to have its full operational staff in place, including a team manager, a media officer, and an administrative manager," the federation clarified.

The absence of key support staff has forced the remaining members of the delegation to absorb extra administrative responsibilities during match days.

"Their absence creates obvious challenges for the team's daily operations and is not consistent with standard tournament procedures," the federation concluded.

Iran head coach Amir Ghalenoei previously criticized the travel dictates following his team's opening 2-2 draw against New Zealand, noting the team was forced onto a flight right after the match concluded.

"They didn't even give us time to recover," said Ghalenoei through an interpreter during a press conference.
