According to details reported by Shams Charania, the Hawks will send their 2030 second-round pick and the least favorable of the Hawks or Los Angeles Lakers 2032 second-round selection to Oklahoma City.
This trade follows Atlanta securing a one-year, $21 million contract extension with veteran CJ McCollum on Sunday.
Wiggins brings an outside shooting presence to Atlanta, boasting a career 38.0% shooting average from three-point range.
The Hawks sought to upgrade their perimeter rotation behind projected starters McCollum, Dyson Daniels, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker following recent roster changes, including a trade involving Luke Kennard.

The Oklahoma City backcourt logjam limited playing time for Wiggins during the postseason, where his minutes dropped to 5.8 per game from 21.8 minutes in the regular season.
The Thunder roster features multiple guards, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lu Dort, Isaiah Joe, Cason Wallace, Ajay Mitchell, and Jared McCain.
Wiggins remains under a team-friendly contract after signing a five-year, $45 million deal with Oklahoma City in 2024.
Meanwhile, upcoming unrestricted free agent Gabe Vincent struggled from beyond the arc for Atlanta, shooting 30.0% from deep in the regular season and 33.3% during the first-round playoff series against the New York Knicks.
The Hawks concluded the 2025-26 season with a 46-36 record to claim the number six seed in the Eastern Conference.
