The Washington Wizards have acquired veteran forward Khris Middleton through a three-year, $17.6-million sign-and-trade agreement with the Dallas Mavericks, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
The deal is part of a larger six-team transaction that also includes the Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, and Memphis Grizzlies.

Trade Details
As part of the multi-team agreement, the Wizards will send guard D'Angelo Russell, a future second-round draft pick, and a future second-round pick swap to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Middleton, 34, returns to Washington after splitting last season between the Wizards and the Mavericks.
The Mavericks initially acquired him in a trade that sent Anthony Davis to the nation's capital.

Last season, Middleton averaged 10.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists over 63 total games for both franchises.
Before his recent moves, Middleton spent nearly 12 seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, earning three All-Star selections and winning an NBA championship in 2019.
