Varland has set multiple franchise records, including a 0.00 road ERA through his first 16 away appearances, tying club marks set in 2006 and 2025, as reported by Yahoo Sports.

He also averages 12.4 strikeouts per nine innings, the seventh-highest rate in Toronto history for pitchers with at least 40 innings.
