Guler found the net in the 10th minute after a quick exchange with teammate Baris Alper Yilmaz on the right flank.
He converted with a precise strike from the edge of the six-yard box into the left side of the goal.
The goal was Turkey's first in the ongoing tournament, as the team had failed to score in their opening two matches.

Guler's strike also ended a multi-decade World Cup scoring drought for the nation, marking the first goal by Turkey at a FIFA World Cup since Ilhan Mansiz scored against South Korea in 2002.
Record-Breaking Achievement
At 21 years and 120 days, Guler surpassed the previous record held by Emre Belozoglu, who scored against Costa Rica in the 2002 World Cup at 21 years and 275 days.
