Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders performer Reece Weaver announced her retirement from the squad after three seasons during the season three finale of the Netflix docuseries America's Sweethearts, which premiered on June 16, 2026.

Weaver, 24, clarified that the decision to hang up her pom-poms was entirely her own, despite public speculation regarding outside pressures influencing her choice.

"There's a lot of people that speculate that this wasn't necessarily my decision, like other outside things were pulling me," said Weaver.

The dancer expressed a desire to encourage others to take bold leaps into new chapters of their lives, acknowledging the uncertainty that comes with stepping into the unknown.

"A lot of people are always scared to stay in their box and be like, 'Well, this is it.

There's no other step.' I just want to encourage people to be bold enough to take that leap," said Weaver.

Weaver admitted that transitioning away from the high-profile cheerleading team brings immediate personal vulnerability.

"It's scary because I'm currently in that right now," said Weaver.

She emphasized that her motivations included exploring opportunities beyond the structure of the organization.

"There's so much more outside for everyone. I think that's another reason why I really wanted to step into the next chapter," said Weaver.

Marriage and Fame

The reality series also highlighted how the intense schedule and sudden fame altered the dynamics of her marriage to her husband, Will Allman, who began managing her sponsored social media campaigns.
