She noted feeling a sense of internal peace regarding her choice to step away without having a definitive short-term plan.
"I really felt at peace that I was supposed to take a leap of faith and just trust that I might not know what's in store the next three months or so down the road," said Weaver.
Despite leaving the Dallas Cowboys organization, Weaver intends to maintain her passion for performing.
"I still want to continue to dance and just explore what life has to offer," said Weaver.
She reflected on her lifelong habit of constantly looking toward her next professional milestone.
"I think my entire life has been, 'OK, what's next? How can I continue?'
I'm still thinking that today, but I feel like for the first time in my life, I'm really thinking about, 'OK, what really is next?'"
said Weaver.
The dancer expressed optimism about navigating a completely unscripted future.
"That's exciting," said Weaver.
She concluded by reaffirming her commitment to dance as a permanent fixture in her life.
"You're just jumping into the unknown. Yes, not everything has to be permanent.
That's the learning process of it all. I'm gonna continue to dance, watch me," said Weaver.
In a separate interview, Weaver detailed how online fan critique directly impacts the squad's collective morale.
"As a whole, it really does affect our team," said Weaver.
She hoped the Netflix docuseries would show viewers that the cheerleaders actively see the critical commentary left online.
