Head coach Sean Lynn is utilizing the game to evaluate the squad's progress under pressure following consecutive Six Nations Wooden Spoons.
"Lynny was unbelievable with me throughout the Six Nations and I was in with the group, helping as much as possible," Callender said.
The technical staff hopes that giving younger players experience at Twickenham will resolve long-standing depth issues within the national pathway.
"It will be a mixed squad this weekend and that's so exciting for the future," Callender said.
The match offers a prominent stage for the evolving team to implement tactical adjustments ahead of their global fixtures.
"Having that development pathway will be good for strength in depth, which we have lacked in some positions over the years," Callender said.
The team is motivated by the prospect of playing at the historic venue before beginning a brief rest period ahead of pre-season training.
"It's going to be a great occasion.
I've played at Twickenham once before with Harlequins and it's a great stadium to play at," Callender said.
Lynn has explicitly challenged his selected matchday squad to deliver tangible performances to justify their inclusion in the senior setup.
"It's a massive opportunity for us to showcase what we have been working on as a new group with lots of young players," Callender said.
Lynn has secured only one victory in 15 Tests since taking charge in March 2025 and requires a positive result to spark their upcoming autumn campaign.
