The Toronto Maple Leafs selected defenseman Alexander Bilecki with the 60th overall pick in the second round of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on June 27, 2026.
The 18-year-old blueliner from Mississauga, Ontario, stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 180 pounds. He plays the left side for the Ontario Hockey League champion Kitchener Rangers.

Bilecki recorded 29 points in 66 regular-season games.
He elevated his offensive production during the OHL playoffs, notching 11 points in 18 postseason contests and adding three assists in four Memorial Cup appearances.
His postseason performance followed a targeted offseason training regimen after a previous Western Conference Final loss to the London Knights.
Kitchener scouts and analysts note that Bilecki regularly logs over 17 minutes per game in top-four situations. He orchestrates power plays while handling physical assignments along the boards.
Analysts project his mobility and transition skills will earn him a future bottom-pair NHL role as he returns to junior hockey for further development.

"Just playing my game and doing what it takes to help the team win," Bilecki said. "It's always nice to contribute, especially on this big stage."
Scouting reports earlier in the OHL season highlighted both his offensive upside and defensive growth.
"He's playing about 12-15 minutes in the postseason, but he's making the most of his ice time," wrote OHL scout Lauren Kelly.
Evaluations tracked his structural development in the defensive zone.
"There was a great half-ice 2-on-1 sequence where he took the middle away with the false gap, accelerated with a crossover, pivoted, and got a breakup," wrote Mitchell Brown, Head of Scouting.

Bilecki is slated to rejoin the Kitchener Rangers next season to continue his development alongside defensive peer group prospects.
