Contract Details
Isaac, selected as the sixth overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, had three years remaining on his five-year, $84-million contract extension signed in July 2024.
Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reported that only $8 million of his $14.5-million salary for the next season was guaranteed.
The remaining amount would have become fully guaranteed after Sunday.
Injury Struggles
Once a foundational piece of the team's rotation and a premier defender, Isaac struggled with availability after tearing his left ACL in 2020 during the Orlando bubble.

The 6-foot-10 forward subsequently missed more than two entire campaigns due to the injury.
Over the last four seasons since his return, he managed to play more than 60 games in just a single season.
During the previous season, Isaac appeared in 52 contests but averaged only 10 minutes per game.
He recorded 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game throughout that stretch.
